Currently, we are staffed with 4 veterinarians and 16 support professionals, and we are equipped with a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography (including dental), an ultrasound, a surgical laser, and 8 lift tables. One of our doctors also specializes in acupuncture.

Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a full-time veterinary technician who exhibits the following:

  • Positive attitude toward clients, team members and patients
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate the needs of doctors and other team members
  • Well spoken, mature, professional communication with clients & team members
  • Dependable, promt, self-starter
  • Demonstrates empathy and active listening

Experience is needed in the following:

  • Restraining dogs & cats for examinations, medical treatments, and imaging - Fear Free preferred
  • Quickly navigating and typing into a Windows-based veterinary software system
  • Educating clients about preventative care and preventative treatments for dogs & cats
  • Triaging medical concerns common to dogs & cats
  • Additional experience as a veterinary technician (preferred)

Education Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s Degree or Higher (preferred)
  • Wisconsin CVT License (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Work requires lifting and carrying animals (will be assisted by other staff members in lifting animals over 50 lbs). Walks or stands for extended periods of time; frequently works in a bent position.
